Easter marks the glorious triumph of life over death, light over darkness, hope over despair, knowledge over ignorance, wisdom over foolishness and courage over fear.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the last few years we have witnessed a barbaric terror and violence unleashed on our people some internal vampires and buccaneers had conspired with external invaders to treat us a conquered people, but as Christian we must hope and believe that the resurrection of Jesus Christ will give birth to a new order and restore the process of our march towards liberation. Ohanaeze under my watch will not fail you. Our collective belief, hope, dream and aspiration will not fail us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On the crisis rocking the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, he said \u201cthe masqueraders of the charade at Enugu on 10\/1\/2025 had failed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI salute the courage exhibited by our people in our collective defence of the mandate freely given to me to lead Ohanaeze. For this I thank you and strengthen you<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNdigbo cannot submit to deceit and manipulation again. The flimsy and fraudulent concoction to blindfold our people that only through the surrender of Ohanaeze to the most infamous governor in the East and his co-travellers can funds be raised to finance the body is a farce.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI call on Ndigbo to take possession, own and fund their common heritage. It is an abomination for a non-member of Ohanaeze, one who had never defended any Igbo cause and one who had betrayed our dream and vision to be trusted to lead Ndigbo at this trying period.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the last 3 months we have witnessed the contestation for the Igbo space and soul by the forces of truth and falsehood, and our people can attest to who is winning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a people we must oppose evil, injustice and oppression. We must support our people in their quest and struggle for freedom.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn this note, therefore, we demand for the release of our brother Mazi Nnamdi Kalu unconditionally or upon such fair and tenable conditions the managers of the Nigerian state may deem fit in the circumstance of his case. We also call on Ndigbo to engage and support the federal Government in order to attract development to our land.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe federal government should be fair to Ndigbo.
