Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>An electricity distribution company, Mainpower, has issued a disconnection notice to its customers in the Abakpa, Awkunanaw, Nsukka, and Ogui districts of Enugu State.<\/p>\n

The company disclosed this in a statement on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The disco urged customers to pay up their outstanding electricity bills to avoid disconnection.<\/p>\n

\u201cCustomers are to pay their bills before the disconnection team gets to their premises and not wait for marketers to visit before they pay to avoid payment of a reconnection fee.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe current energy bill, which is for energy consumed in the previous month, is expected to be paid by the 15th day of the succeeding month.<\/p>\n

\u201cCustomers with arrears are encouraged to clear their bills or take advantage of the discount scheme known as the \u201cAccelerated Settlement of Arrears Project (ASAP).\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPayments can be made at the Mainpower Electricity Cash Offices or at the collection agent locations,\u201d the notice stated.<\/p>\n
