Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has admitted to errors in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME.<\/p>\n

The Registrar of the Board, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, diclosed this during a press briefing in Abuja on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat should have been a moment of joy has changed due to one or two errors,\u201d Oloyede said.<\/p>\n

According to him, \u201cwe set all machineries in order, regardless, there were still errors.\u201d<\/p>\n

This follows JAMB admission that it had received an unusually high number of complaints regarding discrepancies in candidates\u2019 scores.<\/p>\n

This came after reports of poor performances in the recently concluded UTME.<\/p>\n

The board had promised that if any glitches are identified, appropriate remedial measures will be implemented promptly.<\/p>\n

The 2025 UTME results saw 78 per cent of candidates score less than 200 of the 400 maximum obtainable points.<\/p>\n
