Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has denied saying that President Bola Tinubu will never win a second term in 2027.<\/p>\n

Primate Ayodele described the reports as the handiwork of mischief makers and political actors who quoted him out of context.<\/p>\n

He was reacting to some tweets on X that said: \u201cIf Peter Obi becomes president, war and tragedy will befall Nigeria. Tinubu is the best candidate, but he may not win.\u201d<\/p>\n

Condemning the reports, Primate Ayodele recalled a recent interview, where he said Tinubu is the only candidate to vote for if Peter Obi and Abubakar Atiku become the opposition candidates.<\/p>\n

He further recalled saying Atiku and Obi will not be able to rule Nigeria better than Tinubu.<\/p>\n

However, a statement by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, said the popular prophet tagged such headlines as political propaganda by politicians.<\/p>\n

Primate Ayodele described his comments as warnings to Tinubu ahead of the 2027 and not a declaration as reported.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cIt\u2019s a common fact that my prophecies get twisted for selfish interest among political actors. I just want to advise everyone not to say what I didn\u2019t say. I never said Tinubu will not win, I will not change what I said, but when you don\u2019t understand my words, seek clarification and don\u2019t see the anger of God.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything I see on Twitter about Tinubu isn\u2019t true, I only warned Tinubu about three people that can affect his second term ambition and three things he needs to do. I know some of you might have been paid by your paymasters but you shouldn\u2019t misquote my statements.\u201d<\/p>\n

Primate Ayodele also denied mentioning that Nigeria would go to war if Peter Obi becomes President.<\/p>\n

He charged Nigerians to disregard such reports because they never emanated from him.<\/p>\n
