The National Chairman of the National Rescue Movement (NRM) Senator Saidu Muhammed Dansadau has said that Nigeria may be needing more political parties to ensure the success of the 2019 general elections.<\/p>\n
He made the call Wednesday in Abuja at the inaugural meeting of the movement seeking registration as a political party with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).<\/p>\n
Dansadau, who represented Zamfara Central constituency of Zamfara State till 2007, vowed to render selfless service if given the mandate by the people.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have obligation to the nation. Some of us enjoyed free education, free health services, enough employ\u00adment opportunities. It is sad that PhD holders now apply for driving jobs in our country. Our party will bring back hope to Nigerians and show that the country can be rescued and fixed.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have seen the failure of the ruling APC and the PDP and other parties. Nigerians should have more choice and there is need for more parties to make the success of the coming General Elections. I can assure you that after our registration as a party which we have scaled the first hurdle, we would win the Presidency, the states and have the majority in the National Assembly, as Nigerians would be convinced that we are the party that can do it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
