{"id":164065,"date":"2025-05-24T23:09:36","date_gmt":"2025-05-24T22:09:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/fuel-price-drop-marketers-sell-pms-at-dangote-refinery-new-rate"},"modified":"2025-05-25T00:13:13","modified_gmt":"2025-05-24T23:13:13","slug":"fuel-price-drop-marketers-sell-pms-at-dangote-refinery-new-rate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/economy\/fuel-price-drop-marketers-sell-pms-at-dangote-refinery-new-rate","title":{"rendered":"Fuel price drop: Marketers sell PMS at Dangote Refinery new rate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Nigerian petroleum marketers have implemented a fresh premium motor spirit (PMS) price reduction following Dangote Refinery\u2019s announcement of a downward price review.<\/p>\n<p>Abuja observed that MRS Filling, Bova, and AP Ardova PLC have all adjusted their petrol prices.<\/p>\n<p>At MRS filling stations along Kubwa and Lugbe Expressway, Petrol has reduced to \u20a6895 per litre from \u20a6910.<\/p>\n<p>Bova filling station at Berger, Wuse Zone 6, and AP Ardova PLC filling station at Lifecamp Junction have also reduced their petrol price to \u20a6895 per litre.<\/p>\n<p>The spokesperson of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) confirmed on Thursday that the majority of their members would review their petrol pump prices downward following Dangote Refinery\u2019s new price template.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur members will have to review their prices downward to remain competitive, following Dangote Refinery\u2019s latest petrol price cut,\u201d he said in a telephone interview.<\/p>\n<p>Recall that on Thursday, the 650,000 barrels-per-day refinery released a new fuel retail price template for its partners, including MRS filling stations.<\/p>\n<p>Dangote Refinery\u2019s latest price template indicated a \u20a615 per litre petrol price drop nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>This means that Dangote Refinery partners would now sell petrol between \u20a6875 and \u20a6905 per litre, down from the previous \u20a6890 to \u20a6910 range announced in April 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) continues to dispense fuel in Abuja and its environs at \u20a6910 per litre as of Friday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, other fuel retail outlets are selling the product at between \u20a6910 and \u20a6920 per litre in the nation\u2019s capital.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, Empire Filling Station and Ranoil have reduced their prices to \u20a6919 and \u20a6910 per litre, respectively, from \u20a6927 and \u20a6920.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Nigeria<\/span> Follow <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Africa-Press<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria.
