Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Nigeria\u2019s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu has conveyed her best wishes to Nigerian children, describing them as true representatives of the promise of Nigeria\u2019s future.<\/p>\n

She said this as part of activities marking the international children\u2019s day, commemorated every May 27th globally.<\/p>\n

The First Lady said this year\u2019s theme, \u201cStand Up: Building a Bullying-Free Generation,\u201d speaks to our shared responsibility to protect and empower the young hearts.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs we mark this year\u2019s Children\u2019s Day, I extend my warmest wishes and love to every child across our great nation whose minds represent the promise of Nigeria\u2019s future,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n

Speaking further on the ills of bullying, she said whether it occurs in schools, in communities, or online, it leaves lasting wounds that hinder a child\u2019s emotional, social, and academic development.<\/p>\n

According to the President\u2019s wife, every child deserves to grow up in an environment that is safe, supportive, and free from fear.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a mother, I call on all Nigerians to take an active stand against bullying. Let us teach our children that strength lies in compassion, and that true leadership begins with looking out for one another. Happy Children\u2019s Day,\u201d Tinubu stated.<\/p>\n
