With this policy, the estimated subsidy benefit for customers under the AEDC franchise in 2025 is approximately N28.99 billion monthly,\u201d the NERC order released on May 21, 2025, stated.<\/p>\n<p>In the May order, NERC also stated that it approved N1.69 billion from the total annual OpEx of AEDC as being 10 percent of the overbilled amount by AEDC for the period covering May\u2014September 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Recall that in 2024 AEDC announced 107 Band A feeders with customers paying N209 per kilowatt-hour electricity bill.
