Calls are not going through, and we can\u2019t do any online transactions,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The situation is also affecting students and business owners.<\/p>\n<p>A student at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, who identified himself as Aminu, explained how the outage disrupted campus life. \u201cOne student couldn\u2019t go home last night because he couldn\u2019t transfer money due to the blackout. He had to sleep in class,\u201d Aminu said.<\/p>\n<p>Multiple residents across Sokoto and Zamfara also confirmed the development.
