Obukoadata Aghoghofia, is dead.<\/p>\n<p>He slumped and died while playing in a football competition at Evwreni community.<\/p>\n<p>Within nine months and a week, three serving councillors in Delta State, two in Ughelli North and one from Emede Ward 5 in Isoko South, have lost their lives.<\/p>\n<p>Lamenting the death, Ughelli North local government council chairman, Olorogun Jaro Egbo, on his Facebook page, said, \u201cI am not one given to emotional fits, but your sudden departure just three hours after we sat in my office, shared laughter and joked together, is a tragedy too painful to bear.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou were an accomplished legislator whose unwavering dedication to public service and commitment to the development of his ward left an indelible mark on the current 8th Assembly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou may have gone the way of all mortals, Hon. Obukadeta Aghoghophia, but that moment of joy we shared remains a sad reminder of how fleeting and ephemeral life truly is.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe served with distinction, and until his death, he was actively involved in legislative duties. His sudden departure is a heavy blow to us all.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn behalf of the government and the good people of Ughelli North local government area, I mourn the loss of a brother, a friend, and an exceptional politician. His absence will be deeply felt.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It would be recalled that two months ago, one of the councillors, Hon.
