Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The serving overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has stated that he desires the best possible collaboration between the North and South in Nigeria.<\/p>\n

Bakare stated this after visiting President Bola Tinubu at his residence in Lagos State on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Speaking with journalists after the closed-door meeting, the cleric said his conversation with Tinubu focused on national development and the future of Nigeria.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cIt\u2019s not about just reservations. It\u2019s about how the country will go well.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy personal vision is to see a nation that works in my lifetime, and those things I\u2019ve discussed with Mr President, they\u2019re not hidden things.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I\u2019ve learned that when you discuss with the person in charge, you leave it with him to do whatsoever he wills with what you have suggested.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I\u2019ve had a private conversation with Mr President and I\u2019m glad that he received me well and I trust that God will help our nation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bakare added that he looked forward to a peaceful and united Nigeria.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cI\u2019d like to see Nigerians being their brother\u2019s keeper. I like to see good collaboration between the best of the north and the best of the south to steer Nigeria in the right direction. I\u2019d like to see predictable progress in our nation.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have danced around some subjects for too long a time; it\u2019s time to take concrete action to ensure that the masses of our country do not live in abject poverty, that\u2019s all.\u201d<\/p>\n
