Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Bigwigs of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Anambra State have asked the people of the state to be patient that the party will soon end the current dominant era of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in the forthcoming November 8 gubernatorial election.<\/p>\n

The stalwarts called on the people of Anambra to remain patient, prayerful, hopeful, and watchful as they prepare to bid farewell to Governor Chukwuma Soludo\u2019s APGA administration in a few months.<\/p>\n

State Chairman of APC, Chief Basil Ejidike; Chairman of the APC Reconciliation Committee, Engr. John Bosco Onunkwo; National Coordinator of Ikemba Front, Hon. Arinzechukwu Awogu; and Chief Felix Unigwe, a party stalwart, gave these assurances in Onitsha during a Thanksgiving Mass for Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, the APC governorship candidate.<\/p>\n

They said APC has watched APGA\u2019s poor performance over the years with disappointment and is determined to replace the party to renew Ndi Anambra\u2019s hope by reconnecting the people to a revitalized agenda.<\/p>\n

According to them, in every election cycle, APGA has exploited the legacy of Ojukwu to deceive voters into supporting the party and its candidates, only to disappoint them afterward. This time, APC vows to break free from these tactics.<\/p>\n

Ejidike stressed APC\u2019s desire to reconnect with the mainstream due to the non-performance of the Soludo administration.<\/p>\n

Engr. Onunkwo described the Ukachukwu-Ekwunife ticket as a strong and cohesive alliance that will significantly aid APC\u2019s path to victory.<\/p>\n

In the same vein, Hon. Awogu expressed optimism that the Ikemba Front, which he coordinates, will strengthen APC\u2019s chances in the election.<\/p>\n

On his part, Chief Unigwe dismissed rumours that President Bola Tinubu endorsed Governor Soludo during his recent visit to Anambra, saying, \u201cTinubu did not endorse Soludo. He only called him a friend and a thinker.\u201d<\/p>\n
