Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Just a day after celebrating Eid with his family, a secondary school teacher, Mallam Mohammed Abubakar Tayi, was found brutally murdered in his home in Mokwa, Niger State.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the teacher\u2019s residence along Abattoir Road in Mokwa town.<\/p>\n

According to local accounts, unknown assailants attacked Mallam Mohammed in his home, killed him, and made away with his motorcycle.<\/p>\n

Residents who saw him during the Eid celebration described him as cheerful and in good health.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was full of life yesterday, celebrating with his family and greeting neighbours. We woke up today to hear he\u2019s been killed,\u201d said a grieving resident.<\/p>\n

The late teacher was known for his service in the local education sector, having taught at the Government Day Secondary School in Kpege, which was later renamed Bokani Secondary School.<\/p>\n

At the time of reporting, there has been no official statement from security agencies regarding the murder, and no arrests have been made.<\/p>\n
