Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the incident in a statement made available.<\/p>\n<p>Adam said the incident occurred when two vehicles had a head on collision.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe regret to inform the public of a tragic motor vehicle accident that occurred earlier today, Saturday, June 7, 2025, at around 0200hrs, in Kyaramma village, Ringim Local Government Area (LGA), Jigawa State.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPreliminary investigations indicate that the accident involved two golf 3 saloon vehicles with reg no. Kaduna MKA 687 AY, driven by one Adamu Sunusi, of Hadejia LGA, coming from Abuja heading to Gujungu town and golf 3 with reg no. KWL 606 KA, driven by one Bashari Danjummai of Sauna, Nassarawa LGA, Kano State, coming from Hadejia, heading for Kano.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn reaching Kyaramma village, the vehicles had a head on collision, as a result, nine persons lost their lives while several others were injured to varying degrees,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>The injured victims were rushed to Ringim General Hospital, where nine passengers, including the two drivers, were pronounced dead by the doctor.<\/p>\n<p>Adam said post mortem examination was conducted and the corpses released to families of the victims for burial.
