Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Bayer Leverkusen playmaker, Florian Wirtz, will earn a staggering weekly salary when he completes a switch to Liverpool this summer.<\/p>\n

Reds boss, Arne Slot, has made Wirtz his number one target as he seeks to bolster his squad ahead of next season.<\/p>\n

And a deal for the German playmaker appears to be drawing close.<\/p>\n

Liverpool are expected to smash the Premier League transfer record when they eventually land Wirtz as Leverkusen are demanding \u00a3120million.<\/p>\n

The English champions have offered \u00a3100m plus \u00a313m in add-ons.<\/p>\n

But the Bundesliga side are insistent on a fee which would eclipse the \u00a3115m Chelsea paid Brighton for Moses Caicedo.<\/p>\n

According to BILD, the Reds will also pay big for Wirtz\u2019s salary, with the 22-year-old set to sign a five-year contract worth \u00a3355,000-a-week.<\/p>\n
