Ahead of Nigeria\u2019s Sunday\u2019s clash against Brazil, Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr says replacing the duo of Mikel Obi and Odion Ighalo will take some time for the team.<\/p>\n

Both Mikel and Ighalo quit the Super Eagles after Nigeria\u2019s bronze medal at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.<\/p>\n

Rohr revealed that the present crop of players still have a lot to learn to fill the void left behind by Mikel and Ighalo.<\/p>\n

He insisted that the game against Brazil in Sunday\u2019s international friendly in Singapore would afford the technical crew to watch the players.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter the 2019 AFCON<\/a>, two of our top players (Mikel Obi and Odion Ighalo) retired and we have to see how to replace them. We saw a little bit in our friendly against Ukraine last month and hope we can improve on that performance tomorrow.<\/p>\n

\u201cA good showing against Brazil will help our confidence a great deal.\u201d
\nThe Germain tactician also revealed that Sunday\u2019s game against Brazil would make the team stronger and better for the future.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe game against Brazil will show how much we are progressing after finishing third at the Africa Cup in Egypt. It is a fantastic opportunity for us to learn a few more things that will make us better and stronger for future challenges.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is an important test game for us, and we are here to learn from the best. We hope for a very good game against Brazil on Sunday.
