Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Federal Capital Territory, FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike\u2019s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, says Publisher of Ovation Photo Book, Dele Momodu is in \u201cneed of urgent deliverance and rehabilitation before things get out of hand\u201d.<\/p>\n

Lere, who made the remark in a statement on Thursday, was reacting to an outburst by Dele Momodu on national TV on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP chieftain in an interview asked \u201cWhere was Wike during the June 12 struggle? Who knew him then? But today, he speaks as if he\u2019s the founding father\u201d.<\/p>\n

Reacting, Lere also asked, \u201cWhere was Dele Momodu too when Nigeria was being founded? Was he among the founding fathers of Nigeria to be living in the country?\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Wike\u2019s media aide, \u201cthe mental case\u201d of the PDP chieftain \u201cappeared to have graduated from psychology to psychosis, such that he now sees Wike in everything he does, even in his sleep.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said, \u201csince in the warped mindset of Dele Momodu, those who were not part of the June 12 struggle are not entitled to speak about democracy in Nigeria, I think those who were not part of the struggle for the independence of Nigeria should also not live in the country.\u201d<\/p>\n

While admonishing Dele Momodu to stop lying about his involvement in the June 12 struggle, Olayinka said; \u201cHe only used the June 12 struggle to Japa. He didn\u2019t struggle for anything other than his own well-being.<\/p>\n

\u201cThose who genuinely struggled for June 12 didn\u2019t use the children of the man who incarcerated MKO Abiola till he died in custody as a model for any photo book as done by Dele Momodu.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey did not also go about visiting the mansions of Military Generals to take pictures for publication as done by Dele Momodu with his Ovation Photo Book.<\/p>\n

\u201cTherefore, when the register of those who fought for the actualization of June 12 is being taken, people like Dele Momodu, who used it to hustle should stop forcing their names into it.\u201d<\/p>\n
