{"id":166680,"date":"2025-06-12T21:39:06","date_gmt":"2025-06-12T20:39:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/nnpcl-releases-performance-report-and-n5-89-trillion-revenue"},"modified":"2025-06-12T22:48:10","modified_gmt":"2025-06-12T21:48:10","slug":"nnpcl-releases-performance-report-and-n5-89-trillion-revenue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/policy\/nnpcl-releases-performance-report-and-n5-89-trillion-revenue","title":{"rendered":"NNPCL Releases Performance Report and N5.89 Trillion Revenue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, has released a summary of its monthly report for April 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The state-owned oil firm announced that it made a revenue of N5.89 trillion in the period under review.<\/p>\n<p>NNPCL disclosed this in a monthly report summary released through its X account on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, the company recorded a Profit After Tax, PAT, of N748 billion, with crude oil and condensate production at 1,606 barrels per day, while natural gas production stood at 7,473 million standard cubic feet per day.<\/p>\n<p>The report noted that NNPCL made statutory payments amounting to N4.225 trillion between January and March 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, NNPCL reported that the Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben Gas Pipeline (OB3) and the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) Gas Pipeline are 90 per cent and 70 per cent completed, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>It added that petrol availability in its retail stations nationwide stood at 54 per cent, while upstream pipeline availability was 97 per cent as of April 2025.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first performance report announced by the Bayo Ojulari-led NNPCL following his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on April 2, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The release comes amid complaints by Nigerians about the opacity of NNPCL over the past 48 years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Nigeria<\/span> Follow <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Africa-Press<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria.
