{"id":167553,"date":"2025-06-27T21:33:00","date_gmt":"2025-06-27T20:33:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/ondo-father-demands-justice-over-defilement-of-daughter-by-monarch"},"modified":"2025-06-27T21:33:00","modified_gmt":"2025-06-27T20:33:00","slug":"ondo-father-demands-justice-over-defilement-of-daughter-by-monarch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/policy\/ondo-father-demands-justice-over-defilement-of-daughter-by-monarch","title":{"rendered":"Ondo: Father demands justice over defilement of daughter by monarch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Following the alleged kidnap and rape of a 12-year-old girl by a traditional ruler in Ondo State, the father of the victim on Friday demanded that justice be served.<\/p>\n<p>The father, Mr. Ajayi Fulani, appealed to government and security agencies to ensure justice in the case involving the Baale of Laagba community in Ondo East Local Council Area of Ondo State.<\/p>\n<p>According to Fulani, his daughter (name withheld) was abducted and defiled by the traditional head of the community, Chief Adeniyi Ifedayo.<\/p>\n<p>The victim\u2019s father narrated that the monarch was able to perpetrate the dastardly act due to the nature of his job as a security guard, which he said always kept him from home.<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201cI noticed her absence from home on Sunday, May 25, 2025, and I began searching for her immediately.
