{"id":167843,"date":"2025-07-01T09:46:39","date_gmt":"2025-07-01T08:46:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/wike-delivers-dividends-of-democracy-under-tinubu"},"modified":"2025-07-01T11:02:54","modified_gmt":"2025-07-01T10:02:54","slug":"wike-delivers-dividends-of-democracy-under-tinubu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/policy\/wike-delivers-dividends-of-democracy-under-tinubu","title":{"rendered":"Wike Delivers Dividends of Democracy Under Tinubu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>President Bola Tinubu has said no Nigerian is too big to enjoy the dividends of democracy under his administration.<\/p>\n<p>Tinubu said the works of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, has shown that no community or Nigerian that can\u2019t the benefit from the dividends of democracy.<\/p>\n<p>He spoke during the commissioning of a newly constructed in Giri area of Abuja on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The president was represented by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas.<\/p>\n<p>He insisted that the projects embarked on by the Minister has made his administration\u2019s Renewed Hope Agenda real and to Nigerians.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cHonourable Minister, your words speak for themselves in every corner of the FCT. From the fast-paced districts of Maitama, Jahi, Katampe, Wuye, Mabushi, and the likes, to the satellite towns of Gwagwalada, Kwali, Bwari and Abaji, and growing districts such as Kabusa, Keti, Sheretti and now Giri, your leadership has brought progress closer to the people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He stressed that the newly constructed road would open up Hiri District and the FCT.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey show that under this Administration, no community is too small, area too distant, citizen too insignificant, to benefit from the dividends of democracy,\u201d he statee<\/p>\n<p>Speaking, FCT Minister of State, Dr Mariya Mahmoud, said the newly constructed road was an example of the Tinubu\u2019s administration\u2019s commitment to infrastructural development.<\/p>\n<p>Mahmoud said the road is a pointer to plans of opening up under-served communities to economic activities within the area councils.<\/p>\n<p>Also, Dauda said that the project was awarded in November 2024 to provide access roads to the district, planned to be an institutional area.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that the proposed main sewage treatment plant for the city at Giri was also located within the district.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Nigeria<\/span> Follow <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Africa-Press<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria.
