Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has announced the appointment of Pharmacist, Jamiu Abdulkareem Asuku as his new Chief of Staff.<\/p>\n

In a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Onogwu Mohammed, the governor said the appointment was consequent upon the resignation of Chief Edward Onoja as Chief of Staff.<\/p>\n

The statement reads\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cConsequent upon the resignation of former Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Chief Edward David Onoja, His Excellency, Yahaya Bello<\/a> has approved the appointment of Pharmacist Jamiu Abdulkareem Asuku as Chief of Staff\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201dIn the letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr (Mrs) Folashade Arike Ayoade, the Governor also approved the appointment of Dr Gabriel Ottah as Director General (Protocol).<\/p>\n

\u201dDr Ayoade said these appointments take effect from 14 October 2019\u2033.<\/p>\n

Chief Edward Onoja is the Deputy Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the November 16 Governorship election in Kogi State.<\/p>\n

Until their appointments, Pharmacist Jamiu Abdulkareem Asuku was the Director-General, Protocol while Dr Gabriel Ottah was the Head of Department, Mass Communication, Kogi State University, Anyigba\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
