Organised Labour and the Nigerian government on Thursday night, reached an agreement on the consequential adjustments of the implementation of the new\u00a0minimum wage<\/a>\u00a0of N30,000, after 3 days of negotiations.<\/p>\n

Both parties agreed that Consolidated Public Service Salary Structure (CONPSS) adjustment will be GL 7 \u2013 23.2%, GL 8 \u2013 20%, GL 9 \u2013 19%, GL 10 to 14 \u2013 16%, while GL 15 to 17 \u2013 14%.<\/p>\n

For the Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS), Consolidated Tertiary Educational Institutions Salary Structure (CONTEDISS), Consolidated University Academic Salary Structure II (CONUASS II), Consolidated Polytechnics and Colleges of Education Academic Salary Structure (CONPCASS), and Consolidated Research and Allied Institutions Salary Structure (CONRAISS) grade 7 and its equivalent \u2013 23.2%, GL 8 to 14 and its equivalent \u2013 16%, and GL 15 to 17 its equivalent \u2013 10.5%.<\/p>\n
