{"id":169930,"date":"2025-07-17T17:50:19","date_gmt":"2025-07-17T16:50:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/ebsu-sets-150-as-2025-2026-admission-cut-off-mark"},"modified":"2025-07-17T18:55:41","modified_gmt":"2025-07-17T17:55:41","slug":"ebsu-sets-150-as-2025-2026-admission-cut-off-mark","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/all-news\/ebsu-sets-150-as-2025-2026-admission-cut-off-mark","title":{"rendered":"EBSU sets 150 as 2025\/2026 admission cut-off mark"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The management of Ebonyi State University (EBSU) has set 150 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into any of its programmes for the 2025\/2026 academic session<\/p>\n<p>The institution announced this in a statement by Admission Officer, Mr Innocent Izekwe, on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>According to the institution, the cut-off mark of 150 aligns with the National Universities Commission guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>The management also noted that it had set internal cut-off marks for various faculties and departments.<\/p>\n<p>For the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, the cut-off mark is as follows: Mass Communication \u2014 160, while other programmes in the faculty have a cut-off of 150.<\/p>\n<p>In the Faculty of Sciences, the cut-off mark for the Computer Science department is 170, while other programmes remain at 150.<\/p>\n<p>The university has also approved a 150 cut-off mark for all programmes in the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources Management.<\/p>\n<p>The Faculty of Education has a uniform cut-off mark of 150 for all courses.<\/p>\n<p>In the Faculty of Engineering and Environmental Sciences, the approved cut-off marks are: Chemical Engineering \u2014 170, Civil Engineering \u2014 150, Electrical and Electronics Engineering \u2014 170, and Environmental Sciences \u2014 150 for all courses.<\/p>\n<p>For the Faculty of Medicine, the university has set the following cut-off marks: Medicine and Surgery \u2014 240, Anatomy and Physiology \u2014 160 each.<\/p>\n<p>In the Faculty of Health Science and Technology, the cut-off marks are: Nursing Science \u2014 210, Medical Laboratory Science \u2014 180.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, in the Faculty of Law, the approved minimum cut-off mark is 170.<\/p>\n<p>The university emphasised that candidates must not only meet the minimum cut-off scores for their chosen programmes but also fulfill all other admission requirements set by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the institution.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cProspective applicants are advised to visit the university\u2019s website or contact the admissions office for further information and guidance on the application process,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Nigeria<\/span> Follow <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Africa-Press<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria.
