Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>A man identified as Chiemelie Oborji has allegedly killed an unidentified pregnant nurse in Umueri village, Ogbunike, in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State.<\/p>\n

He was said to have lured the nurse under the pretext that his mother was ill and needed medical attention.<\/p>\n

According to commentary in a viral Facebook video, no sooner had the woman arrived than she was butchered by the suspect, who reportedly fled the scene immediately afterwards.<\/p>\n

An indigene of the community, posting under the name Iroko Ogbunike, claimed the victim\u2019s body showed that vital organs had been removed before she was dumped in a pit near the suspect\u2019s compound.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnconfirmed news also suggest that parts of the nurse\u2019s body were missing, raising strong suspicions of a ritual killing.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe entire community is in shock as security agencies intensify efforts to track down the suspect.\u201d<\/p>\n

The video, viewed by a DAILY POST, showed some individuals from the community dragging the dead woman\u2019s body out of the pit.<\/p>\n

One of the youths involved in recovering the body was heard lamenting the \u201cunjust treatment\u201d and declaring the alleged suspect, Chiemelie, \u201cwanted in the entire community.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Anambra State Police Command has yet to release any statement on the incident. Efforts to reach the command\u2019s spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, for confirmation were unsuccessful, as his phone line was unreachable.<\/p>\n
