Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The foremost state-owned hospital in Adamawa State, Specialist Hospital Yola, has dismissed allegation that a child was stolen from one of its wards.<\/p>\n

The Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr Dauda Wadinga, who addressed the press on Friday, as the allegation thickened, debunked the report circulating on social media, describing the report as baseless and misleading,<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s unfortunate that some choose to amplify falsehoods,\u201d he said, adding, someone just wakes up and fabricates a story that a child was stolen from our hospital. That report is completely false. We urge the good people of Adamawa to disregard it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The CMD assured the public that the hospital\u2019s security and patient care systems are professionally structured and dependable.<\/p>\n

According to him, \u201cEvery child is admitted alongside a mother or guardian, making it virtually impossible for any unauthorized person to access or remove a child from the wards unnoticed.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith well-trained nurses, round-the-clock security, and a ward layout designed for child safety, Specialist Hospital Yola is not only secure, it is safer than most public hospitals.\u201d<\/p>\n
