Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Isaac Fayose has stated that former governor Ayodele Fayose no longer has electoral value in Ekiti State.<\/p>\n

Isaac, who is the younger brother of the former governor, made the claim while sharing his thoughts on the political landscape in Ekiti.<\/p>\n

Speaking in a video shared on Instagram, he criticised Fayose and other former governors of the state who are campaigning for Governor Oyebanji\u2019s second term, accusing them of failing to speak truth to power.<\/p>\n

\u201cI saw my brother\u2019s video, sending lots of branded T-shirts. BAO for the second term to Ekiti. And I saw his video where he said PDP will come 4th in the next governorship election in the state.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy brother, I want to remind you that even when you were in PDP last election, PDP came 3rd. That shows your electoral value is not so much. You don\u2019t have so much electoral value anymore because you betrayed so many party members and so many people. And they don\u2019t really like your style of politics again.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe reason PDP came third was the protest vote for SDP candidate, Segun Oni. Segun Oni still has more electoral value than you, sir, my brother. With all due respect, \u2018ee ma binu\u2019 (don\u2019t be upset) with what I said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can assure you, Oyebanji is not working and if you are sure of yourself, beg Mr president to allow free, fair, and credible elections, not selection. You will see that all of una packed together the former governors, Ekiti people are not with you. None of you have opened your mouth to say Oyebanji please do something, this Ekiti road is bad, this poverty is too much but when it comes to second term you are championing it,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
