He said the deployment of the APCs would help deter further attacks and protect lives and property.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI thank President Bola Tinubu, the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, and other security heads for this timely response to protect the people of Kebbi,\u201d Governor Idris said.<\/p>\n<p>Governor Idris stated that the government will continue to support the families of the fallen heroes in their fight against banditry.<\/p>\n<p>Also speaking, the Commander of the 223 Light Tank Battalion in Zuru, Lieutenant Colonel M. S.
