Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>A Christian cleric, Prophet Austin Ariole, has attacked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led All Progressives Congress, APC, saying his administration is laced with so many challenges.<\/p>\n

Prophet Ariole of the Goshen Freedom Tabernacle, GFT, in Delta State said the renewed hope agenda brought a lot of pain and agony to Nigerians excluding the elites and politicians.<\/p>\n

This is contained in a statement signed by the cleric while assessing the performance of the President in the last two years.<\/p>\n

Prophet Ariole noted that it is on record that he took very audacious steps in removing the subsidy in Petrol,\u201dthe pain is beyond managing\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

According to him,\u201dOne of the most worrisome things this administration is doing is appropriating projects in all the geopolitical zones that they put on paper but execution is a problem.<\/p>\n

\u201cBenin to Warri is just how many kilometers, Benin to Abuja is how many kilometers, yet there\u2019s no road.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy is the train terminating in Itakpe or Ajakuta. Isn\u2019t it possible to build the railroad down to Abuja. Every project looks like a mirage.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prophet Ariole added that, \u201cThe coastal road is an amazing initiative, but I believe nothing is happening there now. It can\u2019t be completed by Tinubu and that\u2019s a huge challenge.<\/p>\n

\u201cI read of the contract for the rehabilitation of the wing of Murtala Mohammed international airport in Lagos. Isn\u2019t that money too much? We have so many people dying of frustration and hunger, these projects are far from impacting on the common man.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hear the student loan is on now, my question is, how will these students pay when there are no jobs for graduates in Nigeria. After youth service, majority begin micro business like POS and riding of Keke, is that the dividend or the fruit from graduation.<\/p>\n

\u201cCan you blame the Youths who go into yahoo today. While in the university in the 90s, there was so much excitement believing we would get employment from within the oil and gas sector for those of us from Niger Delta and others also came and got Jobs directly or indirectly from that sector.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust like the machines bought during President IBB for the purpose of training young Nigerian in JSS but where covered until they disappeared.\u201d<\/p>\n

He lamented that so many destinies end in such a manner because the government is not taking responsibility for our security. \u201cForget propaganda, Nigeria is in a state of emergency. The statistics of poverty index is alarming.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust as you see mega churches, the truth is only five percent of most of these church members pull the string. Exactly as the percentage of the general populace making things happen. Government should be for the people and not for the privileged.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ahead of the forthcoming 2027 general elections, Prophet Ariole said former Presidential Aspirant of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi who challenged this government in the last election unfortunately couldn\u2019t put his party together.<\/p>\n

He said,\u2019Now he is again jumping into an unholy alliance that won\u2019t favor him.\u201d<\/p>\n

For a government to succeed, Prophet Ariole opined that,\u201dThere is need for a strong opposition, that we never saw in this administration.\u201d<\/p>\n
