Nigerian striker Josh Eppiah registered his name on the scoresheet as Leicester City thrashed Southampton 3-0 in a Premier League 2<\/a> clash at Holmes Park on Friday evening.<\/p>\n

Eppiah has returned from a long-term back injury that saw him miss the whole of the 2018-2019 season and yesterday’s game against the Saints was his fifth appearance this term.<\/p>\n

The Foxes led through goals from Thakgalo Leshabela and Callum Wright before Eppiah came off the bench as replacement for Muskwe on 62 minutes.<\/p>\n

And he made a key impact when he came on, scoring a fine individual goal after stealing the ball from a Southampton defender in the 88th minute.<\/p>\n

It was Eppiah’s first goal in Leicester City colours since he found the net against Arsenal U23s on February 19, 2018.<\/p>\n
