{"id":173696,"date":"2025-08-12T12:11:36","date_gmt":"2025-08-12T11:11:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/alleged-sextortion-case-gov-alias-aide-sues-efcc-agf"},"modified":"2025-08-12T13:15:18","modified_gmt":"2025-08-12T12:15:18","slug":"alleged-sextortion-case-gov-alias-aide-sues-efcc-agf","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/policy\/alleged-sextortion-case-gov-alias-aide-sues-efcc-agf","title":{"rendered":"Alleged Sextortion Case: Gov Alia\u2019s Aide Sues EFCC AGF"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Mkor Aondona Donatus, a Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Benue State on Documentation, Research and Planning, has dragged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), its chairman, and the Attorney-General of the Federation before the Federal High Court in Makurdi, seeking the enforcement of his fundamental human rights.<\/p>\n<p>In the suit marked FHC\/MKD\/&#8230;\/2025, the plaintiff is invoking sections 33, 34(1), 35, 37, 42(1)(a), 43, and 44(1)(a) &amp; (b) of the Nigerian Constitution, alongside Articles 3, 4, 5, 6, 14, 19, 21(a), 22, 24, 28, and 34 of the African Charter on Human and Peoples\u2019 Rights.<\/p>\n<p>Filed pursuant to Orders 2 Rule 8(1)-(3) and Order 39 Rule 1 of the Federal High Court Civil Procedure Rules 2021, the motion seeks judicial protection against alleged unlawful actions by the EFCC and its leadership.<\/p>\n<p>The case is yet to be assigned a hearing date.<\/p>\n<p>Recall that operatives of the Makurdi Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested Mkor, for alleged sextortion and cyber-bullying.<\/p>\n<p>He was arrested on Friday, June 20, 2025, in Makurdi following claims of some female students accusing the governor\u2019s aide of unethical and criminal behavior involving sexual exploitation, cyber-bullying, and blackmail.<\/p>\n<p>The petitioners alleged that Aondona was routinely recruiting slim and attractive girls for ushering jobs and insisted on sexual favours as a condition for selection.<\/p>\n<p>Based on this, they became vulnerable to having sexual affairs with him, but unknown to them, he had videos of every sexual act without their consent and was always threatening to leak the videos if they refused to continue having sex with him.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Nigeria<\/span> Follow <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Africa-Press<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria.
