Police visited the scene, rushed the victim to General Hospital Zambuk for medical examination, and arrested the suspect,\u201d Abdullahi said.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that investigations are ongoing and urged residents to promptly report all cases of sexual violence for swift action.<\/p>\n<p>In a separate development, the police recovered vandalised electric cables, iron pipes, and railway track bolts in Bajoga Town, Funakaye LGA.<\/p>\n<p>Abdullahi also confirmed the arrest of an 18-year-old wanted armed robbery suspect in Kwadom community, Yamaltu\/Deba LGA. The suspect allegedly confessed to participating in two armed robbery incidents currently before the Gombe High Court.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the suspect and recovered exhibits have been transferred to the Anti-Violence Squad Unit for further investigation and prosecution.
