{"id":174195,"date":"2025-08-14T11:55:06","date_gmt":"2025-08-14T10:55:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/ncc-policies-attracting-more-telecoms-tech-investors-cidg"},"modified":"2025-08-14T12:56:15","modified_gmt":"2025-08-14T11:56:15","slug":"ncc-policies-attracting-more-telecoms-tech-investors-cidg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/economy\/ncc-policies-attracting-more-telecoms-tech-investors-cidg","title":{"rendered":"NCC policies attracting more telecoms, tech investors \u2014 CIDG"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Coalition for Inclusive Digital Growth has said Nigeria\u2019s telecoms sector is pulling in major local and foreign investments due to a stable regulatory environment and expanding broadband coverage.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement issued on Wednesday, the coalition credited the Nigerian Communications Commission\u2019s rural internet rollout and infrastructure push for boosting economic activity in underserved communities.<\/p>\n<p>CIDG President, Peter Ezza, said the NCC under its Executive Vice Chairman, Dr Aminu Maida, has licensed more infrastructure firms and installed additional base stations, narrowing the connectivity gap in remote areas.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that millions of rural dwellers now have access to online education, digital agricultural tools, and e-commerce platforms, linking them to wider markets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInvestors will always go where there is predictability, security and growth potential.
