Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>At least two people were abducted by gunmen on the evening of August 16 in Oreke, a community in Kwara State.<\/p>\n

The victims have been identified as Mrs. Salmat Dada, the wife of the elder brother of the Oreke monarch, and one Dada Faruk, both residents of the area.<\/p>\n

Local sources told security analyst Zagazola Makama that the attackers stormed the community around 8:00 p.m., firing sporadically before abducting the victims and fleeing to an unknown location.<\/p>\n

In response, security forces, including police and community vigilantes, have launched a coordinated search operation aimed at rescuing the abducted individuals and apprehending the assailants.<\/p>\n
