Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, says his team will play for pride in their last group game against Congo at the 2024 African Nations Championship.<\/p>\n

Chelle\u2019s side have already been eliminated from the competition after losing their opening two games to Senegal, and Sudan.<\/p>\n

The Eagles fell 1-0 to Senegal, and were thrashed 4-0 by Sudan in the second game.<\/p>\n

The Malian confessed his team made a lot of mistakes in the previous games but declared that is important for them to end the competition on a high.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe made a lot of mistakes in the previous games, and the tournament is done, but we need to go back with something,\u201d he told a press conference.<\/p>\n

Tuesday\u2019s encounter slated for the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, Dar es Salaam will kick-off at 6pm Nigerian time.<\/p>\n
