Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Osun State Police Command has launched an investigation after a young lady, identified as Bidemi Omole, died suddenly upon arriving at her boyfriend\u2019s residence in Esa-Oke, Osun State.<\/p>\n

Community reports that Bidemi had gone to visit her boyfriend, identified as Yinka, on Friday evening when she suddenly fell ill.<\/p>\n

Eyewitnesses revealed that Bidemi\u2019s death occurred at about 9:30 pm in the Oke Esa area of the town.<\/p>\n

A resident, who preferred anonymity, explained that the deceased showed no signs of illness before the sudden incident.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cWe heard the cry for help and we all ran towards Yinka\u2019s house. By the time I arrived, there were already many people there.<\/p>\n

\u201cI saw some security personnel at the house, but the crowd was overwhelming and it was already late. People were visibly shaken by what happened.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was also gathered that the deceased was believed to have been preparing to attend a vigil that evening before her untimely death.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe usually attends vigil on Fridays. The police have since arrested the boyfriend, and he is with them now,\u201d another eyewitness revealed.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Osun Police Command has confirmed the incident.<\/p>\n

The Police Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Ojelabi, confirmed that the matter was reported to the police on Saturday.<\/p>\n

He also explained that preliminary reports indicated that the deceased began vomiting shortly after her arrival at her boyfriend\u2019s home.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was rushed to a hospital, but she died on the way.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe death occurred on Friday. The deceased, Bidemi Omole, had gone to her boyfriend\u2019s house in Esa-Oke. From what we gathered, she suddenly took ill,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

Ojelabi added: \u201cThe suspect, her boyfriend, is already in custody. An autopsy will be conducted to unravel the cause of death.\u201d<\/p>\n
