Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA, in collaboration with police operatives and community watch teams, have rescued six kidnapped children in Gidan Maga village, Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred on Monday when gunmen invaded the community in an attempt to abduct residents. Security forces engaged the attackers in a gun duel, forcing them to abandon the children and flee into Naalma Forest.<\/p>\n

The victims were identified as Abdulhakim Rilwanu, 12; Zinatu Mansir, 10; Ado Sani, 9; Sani Umar, 10; Yusuf Umar, 10; and Jamilu Nasiru, 11, all from the same village.<\/p>\n

The children were rescued unharmed and reunited with their families, while security forces continued a search operation in the forest to apprehend the fleeing suspects.<\/p>\n
