Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Monday, described the All Progressives Congress, APC, as a threat to him in Rivers State.<\/p>\n

Wike said the APC is now a problem to him, adding that he only relies on the faith his people have in him.<\/p>\n

The former Rivers State governor disclosed this during his monthly media chat in Abuja.<\/p>\n

According to Wike, Rivers State has never witnessed the level of political appointments like it is currently.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI have a problem as a member of PDP, you know why? What is going on now, I have never seen the level of empowerment of any state than Rivers State in terms of political appointments. It\u2019s a problem for me as a member of PDP.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince the history of Rivers State, be it military or civilian, we have never had that kind of political appointments at the Federal level, never, so it\u2019s a threat.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven when you are preaching, the people will ask you what are you preaching?<\/p>\n

\u201cAPC is a threat to me, whether PDP like it or not, they had the opportunity but the only thing that is going for me now is because my people believe and still have that faith in me.\u201d<\/p>\n
