Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, is currently meeting with members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, loyal to him.<\/p>\n

The meeting is taking place at Wike\u2019s official residence in Abuja.<\/p>\n

It began at 8:40 pm and has now entered a closed-door session.<\/p>\n

In attendance are senior PDP figures, including the National Secretary, Sam Anyanwu; National Vice Chairman (South-South), Dan Orbih; and former Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom.<\/p>\n

Others present include former Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu; former Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi; former Senator representing Rivers East, George Sekibo; as well as other zonal and state party chairmen.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the day, during his monthly media chat, Wike disclosed that he and some members of the party would be meeting later.<\/p>\n
