Umar Mohammed, was made during a cordon-and-search operation at Ikyaior village of the aforementioned council.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe operation, conducted on September 6, followed credible intelligence reports indicating that a suspected criminal, identified as Mr. Terhemen Nzagha, popularly known as \u2018Full Fire,\u2019 was allegedly harbouring armed criminals in the Sabon-Gida Leke area along the Benue-Taraba border,\u201d the Brigade said.<\/p>\n<p>While no suspects were apprehended during the operation, a significant quantity of military-grade items was reported to have been discovered and recovered.<\/p>\n<p>The recovered items, as listed by the Army, include five Special Forces face caps, three AK-47 magazines, three FN rifle magazines, three rifle slings, two FN rifle breech blocks and slides, one AK-47 firing mechanism, two FN rifle stocks, two FN rifle springs, one mini-telescopic sight, one AK-47 rifle butt, one FN rifle bag, one badminton bag, two charms, and one flashlight.<\/p>\n<p>Overwhelmed by the development, the Commander of 6 Brigade and Sector 3, Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS), Brigadier General Kingsley Chidiebere Uwa, commended the troops for their swift execution and professionalism during the mission.<\/p>\n<p>He reiterated the Army\u2019s commitment to maintaining peace and security across Taraba State.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe 6 Brigade remains vigilant, proactive, and resolute in flushing out criminal elements from Taraba and its environs,\u201d General Uwa stated.<\/p>\n<p>He also urged the public to continue supporting security agencies by providing credible and timely information, noting that civilian cooperation is crucial to sustaining the military\u2019s momentum in combating insecurity.<\/p>\n<p>He called on all citizens to remain security conscious and to report suspicious activity through appropriate channels.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\">Nigeria<\/a> Follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria.
