If someone performs poorly and is sanctioned, then those who excel must be acknowledged and rewarded,\u201d the Governor stated.<\/p>\n<p>He urged other education bodies, including the Senior Secondary School Management Board and the Islamic Education Bureau, to emulate the initiative by introducing similar award schemes to motivate teachers across all sectors.<\/p>\n<p>The Governor commended the Science and Technical Schools Board for organizing the 2025 Best Teacher Award, reiterating that excellence in teaching is critical to achieving quality education.<\/p>\n<p>He further emphasized that infrastructure alone is not enough to drive educational development without competent and motivated teachers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat is why we have embarked on the recruitment of teachers at all levels, to reduce the student-teacher ratio in our schools.
