Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The parents whose children were allegedly trafficked by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP, have cried out for help.<\/p>\n

DAILY POST reports that popular Nigerian actor and activist, Stanley Ontop, accused NAPTIP of abducting eight children from Happy Home Orphanage in Asaba, Delta State, without formal documentation since June 15, 2025.<\/p>\n

The actor further alleged that NAPTIP moved the children to Nasarawa Orphanage Home, in Kano State, changed their names, and converted them to Islam. \u201c@officialnaptipnigeria officials from Kano came to Asaba and abducted these Igbo kids and Islamized them into Islam,\u201d the actor stated.<\/p>\n

In response to the allegation on Tuesday, NAPTIP claimed the children were stolen from Kano and taken to Asaba between 2017 and 2022.<\/p>\n

Reacting to NAPTIP\u2019s claim, the parents of the children, in a video shared by Stanley Ontop on Wednesday, called for DNA testing.<\/p>\n

Speaking in the viral video, one Mrs Favour Emeh said: \u201cI\u2019m a worker here at Happy Home orphanage. I lost my husband on April 9 and did the burial on May 16 2025. I have three kids and my husband\u2019s family abandoned us. So, I came here for help and I was employed here as a cook in June this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cThree days after I started working here, NAPTIP officials came and abducted 8 children including my five year old son, Chukwudalu Emeh. I\u2019m a widow,\u201d she said, while showing her son\u2019s birth certificate to the public.<\/p>\n

Other parents were also seen in a series rof videos on social media, calling on the general public for help.<\/p>\n

The children\u2019s names are Madu Abuchukwu Elijah, Madu Abuchukwu Chinwemeri, Madu Abuchukwu Nzubechukwu Ifeanyi, Chimamanda Azuke Mpa, Chibuike Azuka, Munachi Ogugua, Chukwudalu Emeh, and Chikamso (Nanny).<\/p>\n
