{"id":18095,"date":"2019-11-25T15:32:38","date_gmt":"2019-11-25T15:32:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.com\/nigeria\/?p=18095"},"modified":"2019-11-25T15:32:38","modified_gmt":"2019-11-25T15:32:38","slug":"lagos-state-emerges-nigerias-top-investment-destination","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/all-news\/lagos-state-emerges-nigerias-top-investment-destination","title":{"rendered":"Lagos State emerges Nigeria\u2019s top investment destination"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nigeria\u2019s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Monday said Lagos was the country\u2019s top investment destination for the third quarter of 2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy Destination of Investment, Lagos state emerged as the top destination of capital investment in Nigeria in Q3 2019 with $4,976.40 billion,\u201d NBS said in its Q3 capital importation report.<\/p>\n<p>The $4,976.40 billion, NBS said, accounted for 92.71% of the total capital inflow in Q3 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Asides Lagos, Nigeria\u2019s capital city Abuja, Edo, Kaduna, Kano, Ogun and Oyo state also featured in the report.<\/p>\n<p>According to NBS, Abuja attracted $381.19 million investment for the third quarter. Edo, Kaduna and Kano states each attracted less than a million-dollar investment. $0.83 million was reported for Edo State, Kaduna \u2013 $0.25 million and Kano \u2013 $0.16 million.
