Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has assured leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of a peaceful and successful conduct of the party\u2019s forthcoming congresses.<\/p>\n

The Governor stated this while speaking during the APC stakeholders meeting held on Saturday evening in Dutse.<\/p>\n

He stressed that unity and inclusiveness remain the bedrock of his administration\u2019s political approach.<\/p>\n

The gathering brought together elected officials, party executives, and respected elders, providing a platform for reflection and frank discussions on the state of the party.<\/p>\n

Governor Namadi said the strong presence and commitment shown by stakeholders at the meeting demonstrated a shared resolve to keep the APC united and focused.<\/p>\n

He emphasised that his leadership would continue to promote fairness, justice, and respect for all party members, noting that no individual or group would be sidelined in the party\u2019s affairs.<\/p>\n

According to him, peaceful congresses are critical to strengthening the APC\u2019s internal democracy and consolidating its acceptance among the people of Jigawa State.<\/p>\n

He urged party leaders to work collectively, avoid actions that could cause division, and place the overall interest of the party above personal ambitions.<\/p>\n

While reacting over the ongoing APC membership revalidation exercise, The governor disclosed that Jigawa State currently ranks second nationwide, describing the achievement as commendable, and urging stakeholders to intensify mobilization efforts to enable the state to secure the top position.<\/p>\n

The stakeholders reaffirmed their commitment to cooperate with the state leadership to ensure hitch-free congresses and sustain the unity that has continued to define the APC in Jigawa State.<\/p>\n
