Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Idris Kalgo, has said if former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, decides to join the All Progressives Congress, APC, the case against him will die down<\/p>\n

Kalgo made this statement on Saturday when he appeared as a guest in an interview on Trust TV.<\/p>\n

He was reacting to the incident that played out at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, where operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS, attempted to arrest El-Rufai.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf El-Rufai decides to join the APC now, the case will die. Just like that. The same thing goes to the former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami. Where is he now? He\u2019s in detention.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike the case of former Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, it was after the case that he decided to join the APC.<\/p>\n

\u201cTechnically as we speak, Okowa is a free man because he\u2019s in APC. The only reason El-Rufai and Malami are being targeted is that both are in ADC,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
