{"id":196026,"date":"2026-02-23T23:59:19","date_gmt":"2026-02-23T22:59:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/33-ships-carrying-fuel-food-and-more-arriving-lagos-ports"},"modified":"2026-02-24T01:00:45","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T00:00:45","slug":"33-ships-carrying-fuel-food-and-more-arriving-lagos-ports","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/economy\/33-ships-carrying-fuel-food-and-more-arriving-lagos-ports","title":{"rendered":"33 Ships Carrying Fuel Food and More Arriving Lagos Ports"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Nigerian Ports Authority has announced that 33 vessels carrying petroleum products, food supplies, and other assorted cargoes are scheduled to arrive at major seaports in Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>According to the authority\u2019s Daily Shipping Position released on Monday, the vessels are expected to arrive at the Apapa Port, Tin Can Island Port, and Lekki Deep Sea Port between February 22 and February 27.<\/p>\n<p>The NPA explained that 17 of the incoming ships are laden with containerised cargo, while the remaining 16 vessels are conveying bulk gas, diplomatic cargo, bulk urea, empty containers, crude oil, bulk clinker, and blended stock.<\/p>\n<p>The authority also disclosed that seven ships and tanker vessels have already arrived at the three ports and are currently awaiting berthing approval.
