Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Michael Aondoakaa, SAN, has urged Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, to reconcile differences with the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, George Akume.<\/p>\n

Aondoakaa made this call on Tuesday on Arise Television\u2019s \u2018Morning Show\u2019 monitored by DAILY POST.<\/p>\n

His remark is coming as the the face-off between the duo escalated following the ward congress of the All Progressives Congress, APC, held across the state last Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The crisis, which began shortly after Alia\u2019s inauguration in 2023, has split party members into two factions.<\/p>\n

The ex-AGF said, \u201cThe President has directed a conciliatory process by the party regarding the differences between Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia and Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t see anything wrong, nor do I see it as disrespect to the office of the Governor, if he approaches Akume in obedience to the President\u2019s directive.\u201d<\/p>\n
