Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Ogun State Police Command has provided an update on the rape allegation made on TikTok by Abigail Nsikak, popularly known as Mirabel, stating that the matter is being handled with due process and sensitivity.<\/p>\n

In a statement issued on Thursday, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi B. Babaseyi, said the complainant visited the police station and was subsequently taken to a medical facility for examination to verify her claims.<\/p>\n

\u201cUpon her visit to the police station, she was received and taken to a medical facility for necessary examination to verify her claims,\u201d Babaseyi stated.<\/p>\n

He added that the complainant has continued to cooperate with investigators as the process unfolds.<\/p>\n

According to the Command, in consideration of her welfare and support needs, she has been released to the Ogun State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development for further care.<\/p>\n
