The newly installed Onisale of Gbokoto in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State, HRM Oba Tajudeen Olukunle, has been urged to operate strictly within his jurisdiction to ensure peaceful coexistence within and beyond Gbokoto land.<\/p>\n
Governor Dapo Abiodun gave the charge during the installation and presentation of the Staff of Office to the monarch at Yewa North Local Government Primary School Playing Ground, Gbokoto-Isale.<\/p>\n
He stressed that adherence to constituted authority and respect for the law are essential to sustaining peace and development in the community.<\/p>\n
Abiodun, represented by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Ganiyu Hamzat, noted that the growth and development of Gbokoto land remain a top priority of his administration.<\/p>\n
Abiodun advised the monarch against any form of involvement in land-grabbing activities, urging him instead to align with the state government\u2019s anti-land-grabbing campaign by putting measures in place to curb such acts and related criminalities within the community.<\/p>\n
In his goodwill message, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle, represented by the Eselu of Iselu, Oba Akinyemi Akintunde, called on sons and daughters of Gbokoto to embrace unity and love, noting that their collective strength would pave the way for sustainable development.<\/p>\n
Speaking, Chairman of Yewa North Local Government, Olusola Akinbode, congratulated the monarch and urged residents to support the new traditional ruler in ushering in a new era of purposeful leadership.<\/p>\n
In his acceptance speech, Oba Tajudeen Olukunle expressed gratitude to Governor Abiodun for approving his installation and called on all sons and daughters of Gbokoto to support his reign, as he pledged to promote peace, stability, and development in the community.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
