Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Kano was thrown into grief after a woman died just hours after delivering five babies at Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital.<\/p>\n

The incident reportedly happened on Wednesday night after the woman had successfully given birth to quintuplets earlier the same day.<\/p>\n

According to a local radio station, the woman was admitted to the hospital where she delivered the babies, but her condition worsened shortly after the natural childbirth.<\/p>\n

Medical sources said, \u201cHer condition suddenly deteriorated after delivery despite efforts by doctors to stabilise her.\u201d<\/p>\n

The five newborns are currently receiving intensive care at the hospital, although officials have not yet shared details about their health condition.<\/p>\n

Hospital authorities are yet to release an official statement explaining what led to the woman\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

Authorities are expected to provide more information as medical reviews and investigations continue.<\/p>\n
