I will not condone indiscipline among officers and men under my command. Professionalism, respect for human dignity and strict adherence to the rule of law must define our conduct at all times.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI enjoin all officers and men to treat members of the public with dignity, courtesy, and the utmost respect. We must remain professional in the discharge of our duties. Respect, as they say, is reciprocal. Therefore, I also urge members of the public to engage with the police and other security agencies with civility and mutual respect. See us as partners and work hand in hand with us in our shared responsibility of maintaining law and order.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFurthermore, the X-Squad and the Police Monitoring Unit will be fully deployed and strengthened to ensure internal discipline and professional conduct among officers and men. There will be no safe haven for misconduct.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet me reiterate that the few bad eggs within our ranks will not be allowed to drag the good name of the Force into disrepute.
